A teacher who grew up speaking Irish
I grew up surrounded by Irish in Gaeltacht Mhúscraí. I speak a dialect called Gaelainn na Mumhan, Munster Irish. It's the dialect I grew up with, the one I studied to Masters level and the one I've been teaching online and in person for years now.
My classes are welcoming. I really believe that anyone who wants to speak Irish can, they just need to find the right space to do it.
